• Small shovel, perferable trowel for digging cat holes six inches or deeper
• Extra Rope
• Brillo pad - 1 or 2 for clean up
• Large Pot for boiling water
• Backpack stoves and fuel
• Water Filter

Personal Gear:

• Back Pack with Frame
• Back Pack rain cover
• Sleeping Bag -- weather appropriate in stuff sack
• Foam Pad
• Tent (smaller is better)
• Poncho or Rain Suit
• Good Hiking Boots
• Pocket Knife
• Matches with fire starter
• Warm Jacket/sweater weather appropriate
• Change of underwear
• Clean T-Shirt
• Several changes of socks
• Soap/toothbrush/toothpaste/small towel
• Toilet Paper
• Canteen/water containers full of water
• Iodine tablets/water purification system
• Insect Repellant
• Sunscreen
• Sunglasses
• Patrol Gear
• Patrol Food
• Plastic Garbage Bags
• Rope
• Spare Bungee Cords (2)
• First Aid Kit including either Moleskin or Gel foot pads
• Hat or Baseball Cap
• Mess Kit (no paper plates)
• Eating Utensils
• Compass and Map of Area
• Pencil/Pen -- Paper
• Flashlight with new batteries in it (smaller the better)
